About Pixie Brown
Pixie Brown was born at Erldunda Station where she grew up with her mother. Her school days were spent at Hermannsburg and on weekends she would go to Erldunda to work as a house keeper. Pixie says she enjoyed working and making her own money. Later in life she worked as a Tour Guide in Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park sharing her Anangu culture.
Pixie loves to paint the significant Tjukurpa of this region including Kungkarangkalpa (Seven Sisters), Kuniya & Liru, Minyma Kutjara (Two Sisters). The rock formations of Uluru, Kata-Tjuta and Attila often feature in her work too. It is country she knows so well.
Pixie loves travelling to different communities to see family but is now settled in Mutitjulu with her partner Rolley Mintuma.
