Kimberly Taylor was born in Port Augusta and grew up in Fink Mission with her parents. In 2002 she moved to Mutitjulu with her husband and their three children.

She is an accomplished artist, singer and song-writer with husband David as part of the Mutitjulu Band. In 2019 the band recorded their first single with ABC studios, Sydney.

Kimberly started painting Tjukurpa stories in her thirties. She enjoys painting Kungkarangkalpa (Seven Sisters), Tinka (Sand Goanna), Minyma Tjuta (Many Women) and families sitting around the camp-fire, talking and sharing their stories.
