Christobell Protty is a respected artist from Kaltukatjara (Docker River), who creates her artwork in Walkatjara while visiting her family in Mutitjulu.
Born in Areyonga (Utju), Christobell later moved to Kaltukatjara with her family. She is the daughter of Martha Protty, a senior law woman and artist, which has greatly influenced her deep understanding of the landscapes and cultural stories of the Kaltukatjara region.

Christobell’s artwork is rooted in important tjukurpa (Dreaming stories) from the Docker River and Mutitjulu areas, such as Minyama Kutjara (two women)
